Just completed the 2nd part.

In the same time, I picked up the motif to stitch a scissor fob for my scissor. This fob will accompany me for years even after the project is completed.

A question for my Hungarian friends

Hi everyone,

I am finally able to begin stitching this beautiful sampler. I will be honoring my grandparents who came to the US from areas surrounding Budapest. I would like to stitch the words, " In Fond Rememberance" in Hungarian. Could one of you please translate those words for me into Hungarian?

Also, I'd like to stitch the sampler in 2 colors, red, white and green to represent the colors of the Hungarian flag. I know Icurkapicurka is stitching her sampler in those colors, so Icurkapicurka, if you read this post, could you please let me know what colors you used and the type of fibers (ie. DMC, etc)? I tried to email you but you do not have a contact address.

Dear Needle Magicians!
I’m asking you to participate in a charity project!
We’d love to give hand-made decorations for the Dévai Szent Ferenc foundation, for Böjte Csaba Franciscan monk's children homes. The children live there as a family. They live in separate flats, where 10-12 children are brought up. There are family homes, too where the pupil age children are spent their evenings, because of the very hard circumstance at home.
I’d like, if we would be able to turn the homes into more intimate, filled with love.
Each single little thing is a big treasure for them; we can give a big-big joy with this. Who would like to help, please prepare something for the children! This may be a wall picture, a pickpocket container, a pillow, a gymnastics sack, a tablecloth, a knitted or crocheted toy, doll. Or anything, else that is useful for the children, or makes them happy. The children are 3-18 years old.

Nagy nehezen elkészültem a negyedik résszel, mivel az első hárommal nagyon haladtam, mivel ugy voltam vele, ma kivarom az indás részt, utána pár nap alatt a betűket, majd az élet fát a tulipánokkal, ha volt egy félórám egy-egy szegfűt a hópihéknél meg szinte le sem tudtam rakni a kezemböl a csodaszarvast meg fél éjszaka alatt készre varrtam nagy örömmel néztem, hogy milyen szépen alakul! Viszont ez a negyedik a geometriai mintás nekem nehezen ment, sokat bontottam és hibáztam, de túl vagyok rajta az ötödik már megint nagyon kedvemre való a szederinda( mivel kékkel varrom, ha piros színeket választok akkor málna lenne) a borostyánt is nagyon jó hímezni gondolom a többi is hasonló örömmel tölt el.
